Vesta Fire RVD-901 Effect Rack

These are very rare units (2 for sale) from Japan made in the 1980's and are in amazing condition. The 'Vesta Fire' brand is now gone (they changed names often to avoid creditors - Vestax is still alive) but in the late 80's and early 90's they made some beautiful gear in an attempt to catch on to some of the Roland success but at a more affordable price point.

These are beautiful pieces of hardware with a lively and colourful sound that Japanese manufacturers produced in this era. It's a perfect addition to your studio and great as an outboard insert from your DAW giving you much more analog flavour than current stale plugins

The more I used the Vesta gear the more I liked them - they're pretty cult these days. They're not as factory dialled-in like the Roland racks so you have to find your own sweet spot but they have a great sound - different but tight.
